This is an Icom 706 MkIIG. It had a problem and wouldn't boot. This was traced to a problem on the power control board, where electrolytic caps had leaked, wicked through the holes in the PC board, soaked into a foam rubber pad, and literally ate the traces off the board.
The rubber pad was removed, caps replaced, pcb cleaned and neutralized, and traces repaired or bypassed.
