This is a Palomar Engineers P-410X 160m thru 6m receive preamp I repaired and modified for a friend. Originally, it had a coaxial pigtail hanging out for the connection to the radio. I removed that, installed a matching SO-239 connector, and labeled it. The main pc board literally floats in the cabinet, supported by connections to the front panel controls. It was inoperable due to breaks in the board, a bad FET, and connection issues with the front panel. Those items were repaired and it was good to go! Here's a few pics...
