This is a Kenwood TS-850S run up, after a display inverter repair. These are known for leaky electrolytic capacitors, and the acidic electrolyte will literally destroy the traces on the pcb. The symptom was an erratic main display panel. Specifically, a 470uF 16v cap on the inverter board for the CFL backlight. This one was caught early, the board was cleaned, caps replaced, and she's ready for another few decades of use! This precipitated a recap. 105 deg caps were used throughout.
