This is part 2 of a Swan 400 restoration I've been plunking around on for a while (another one of those "in small doses", hahahaha). I have the front panel cleaned and touched up...it was ROUGH. Playing with knobs (don't have the originals for it), got to install the meter and remount it to the chassis... Check out the "before" pic.

Hallicrafters R-42 Reproducer
Hallicrafters R-42 Reproducer, the matching speaker for the SX-42. Steel cabinet, 23.2 lbs! 17" X 12" X 13", 3.2 ohm speaker, 500 & 5000 ohm taps. It was a whopping $25 in 1947.
This thing was a beater... rust, dents, scrapes, stripped bolts, etc. Check'r out now...
Wrinkle Finish Paint
I really like this wrinkle finish paint. It's perfect for restoring old rigs. Kinda slow to apply, I paint 1 horizontal surface at the time to control runs, but the final finish is great! It goes on glossy, and requires 3 heavy coats to achieve the wrinkle, but check this out...
