This is the beginning of a GI7B amp build with a single tube. I picked up the cabinet at a hamfest, it was originally an audio amp for a public address system at a school. I gutted the cabinet, smoothed and sanded it, and applied a black wrinkle finish from VHT. I'm now selecting the transformer, controls, and other components. Stay tuned!
I've been in Amateur Radio since 1974, and still find new and interesting things to do. I like to build, restore, and operate on the air. This blog has been running for many years, so be sure to check out "Jump to Posts on Specific Topics" in the RH column to drill down and find lots of stuff.
