This is the second Swan 250 restoration I acquired from a local estate. This rig looked to have been a parts rig, lots of bad tubes, some were bad _and_ just plugged into incorrect sockets, etc. It had some outer cabinet rust and peeling, knobs missing inner "brites", stripped sets crews, various other mechanical issues.
I cleaned and repainted the top and bottom covers, tested/replaced tubes, cleaned and serviced all of the controls and rotary switches, installed new lamps, replaced all electrolytic caps, replaced several out of tolerance resistors, and gave it a full alignment. It turned out well and is a great performers. It has landed in Studio A andcpart of my collection. Great rigs!!
